Services may be provided as one-time projects or ongoing monthly partnerships, depending on your needs.

3. Payment Terms

One-Time Projects

• A 20% deposit is required to begin

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has started

• Remaining balance is due as outlined in your project agreement

• Payment plans may be available upon request

Retainers

• Billed on a monthly basis

• Require a 30-day written notice to cancel

Late Payments

• A 5% late fee may be applied to overdue invoices

• Work may be paused until payment is received

4. Refunds

Because each project involves dedicated time and creative work:

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun

• Payments for completed work or active retainers are non-refundable

5. Revisions & Scope

• Projects typically include up to 4 rounds of revisions

• Additional revisions or requests outside the original scope can be added for an additional cost

• Significant changes may require an updated agreement

6. Your Responsibilities

To keep your project running smoothly, you agree to:

• Provide content (text, images, product info) in a timely manner

• Give feedback within agreed deadlines

• Grant access to necessary platforms (Shopify, hosting, etc.)

If feedback or materials are delayed:

• Timelines may shift

• Work may be considered approved as-is

• An invoice may be issued for completed work

7. Timelines

We do our best to keep projects on schedule, but timelines depend on collaboration.

Link&Layout LLC is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Late content or assets

• Delayed communication

• Missed feedback deadlines

8. Ownership & Usage

Once your project is paid in full:

• You own the final deliverables

However:

• Work may not be resold or repackaged as a competed service

• Link&Layout LLC may showcase the work in portfolios or marketing

• We may reuse general design elements or frameworks in future projects

9. Third-Party Platforms

We often work with tools like Shopify, hosting providers, and design platforms.

We are not responsible for:

• Platform outages or technical issues

• Changes in pricing, policies, or features

• Performance limitations of third-party tools

10. Liability

We provide our services with care and expertise, but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes.

Link&Layout LLC is not liable for:

• Website downtime

• Lost revenue or business opportunities

• Issues caused by third-party platforms

All services are provided “as is.”

11. Cancellation & Termination

• Either party may end a project or retainer

• Retainers require 30 days notice

• For one-time projects, payment is due for all work completed up to termination

Final deliverables will be released once all outstanding balances are paid.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
